Fluorite Powder
In resin-bonded grinding wheels, fluorite powder can improve strength and heat resistance and may replace part of the natural cryolite. Thermal decomposition during grinding can enhance self-sharpening, reduce workpiece burn, and improve efficiency. Recommended addition: 5–10% of abrasive weight.

| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Suggested addition | 5–10% of abrasive mass |
| Process role | Additive for resin-bonded wheels |
| Formulation role | Evaluate partial substitution of natural cryolite |
Dosage basis
Addition is expressed relative to abrasive mass, not total batch mass. Use the catalog range for selection and verify it with the resin system and production trials.
Specification confirmation and technical documents
State the application and purchase requirement. Request grade-specific technical data, packaging and storage information from the account manager; unspecified properties are not confirmed supply specifications.
Application review and samples
Provide the abrasive product, current material, process stage and issue to address. For additives, include the resin system and dosage basis; for separators, operating temperature and contact surfaces; for adhesives, substrates and curing process.
